Interesting posting about Danno - the perfect sidekick

This was a fun read - until you get to some of the comments. But I still enjoyed it.

If you search this site for just Hawaii, you will find other things about Classic H50 which is one of the blog author's favorite shows as well as other old TV shows. The "search" thingie is in the upper left hand corner, by the way.

One of the criticisms I read sometimes about Five-O was that it was basically the Steve McGarrett show, and the other detectives simply said "Yes, boss" and followed his orders.

This was somewhat true, but you got just enough of the characters with scenes on their own to where you grew attached to them, especially Danno and Chin.

There were even some good episodes where McGarrett was almost completely missing.

One that jumps to my mind is where Chin is accused of bribery. You get to know more about him and his family especially that his son really wasn’t that great to him.
