Yvonne Elliman
February 1978 Yvonne Elliman released a big hit "If I Can't Have You"
She was featured in an episode of "Hawaii Five-0" where instead of the usual music at the beginning of the episode, her song "If I can't Have You" was used instead of the usual Hawaii Five-0 theme.
Her hit song "If I can't Have You" was also featured in the episode.
I found an episode called "Number One With A Bullet" where she was featured but the opening theme for the episode was not changed and her hit song "If I can't Have You" was not featured in the episode.
Does anyone know what episode I am referring to?
Thanks

Did you actually witness this other episode yourself?
I have never heard of this, and I think that, considering the episode in question probably dates from about 50 years ago, this has never been something that was mentioned or discussed, as far as I know.
Sounds like an example of "The Mandela Effect," though that usually applies to large groups of people...

Yvonne Elliman only appeared in that one season 11 episode - Number One With a Bullet. And she sang some songs too in the episode. I believe “If I Can’t Have You” was also one of those songs she sang. But as far as I know every single episode began with the Five-O intro and I can’t believe they would ever replace that (even for one episode) with a song by Elliman or any other singer for that matter. So this is news to me…

Didn't they use something different for the End Credits? Why am I remembering that?
The other thing with Number One With A Bullet is that the music started right away. Intro, opening scene was Sonny's disco and there was little to no break. Could that be what we're recalling?
