Jerome Coopersmith RIP
Prolific Five-O writer Jerome Coopersmith passed away July 21st, aged 97. In addition to his 32 scripts for the series, he also wrote an ultimately unproduced script for one of those "reunion" TV movies that were popular in the late 70's, early '80's (The Return of Hawaii Five-O).

Thank you for posting this - saw that name so many times in the credits

Wow, I could have sworn he died some time ago. I thought I read his obituary years ago.
Definitely the best writer on Five-O, along with John D.F. Black.

He did not write after season 9, for reasons I don't know.

Also, notice he really didn't write many dud episodes, which is equally important!
RIP Jerome Coopersmith

An episode written by Coopersmith and directed by Michael O'Herlihy was always the best combination on Five-O.

His writing was awesome. Always a fun episode to watch if Coopersmith had a hand in it. :)
