If you go to Amazon Japan, by the way, it looks like they are selling DVDs and Blu Rays of the reboot, but what's with the number of discs in some of the boxes, i.e., 11 and 12 discs?
I am investigating this...
Those listings at Amazon Japan for the reboot sets are really weird.
I took a look at the set for Season 9. It looks like they only have 2 episodes on each DVD, which doesn't make sense. Or do they have the original North American show plus the same thing repeated with Japanese dialog? Can anyone from Japan who owns any of these discs explain this?
In the list below, the episode titles are first what is translated from Japanese with Google Translate (usually not very good) and what follows is the English translation from the Hawaiian original title provided by CBS when the show ran in North America.
I’m almost tempted to order one of these seasons to satisfy my curiosity, but is there such a thing as a “good season” of the reboot?
