Happy Birthday Duke May 20

Happy Birthday May 20 In Remembrance of Herman Wedemeyer AKA Sergeant and HFO Detective Duke Lukela. Duke was a hard-working member of the HFO Team. There was a great respect and love for Duke as McGarrett and the HFO team worked to break the brilliant frame on Duke in Death Is A Company Policy. Duke had a cool karate chop in Elegy In A Rain Forest tracking down a suspect. He also tracked down a running Sunny in Number One With A Bullet. Herman Wedemeyer was an outstanding athlete in his younger days. He shows some of this athleticism in getting these criminals or suspects. I also enjoyed Duke in Season 11 when McG sent him to the mainland. Duke's detective work helped bring down Matthew Meighan the great Architect and Philanthropist. Duke discovered the little storefront music knob gizmos on the placards. They were located in front of every music store. HBDay Duke! JC

Herman Wedemeyer also made a single appearance on Magnum, P.I. as the coroner.

In real life, Wedemeyer also served in the Hawaii Legislature. :)
