These are shots of Dorothy Mackaill from a 1931 film "Safe in Hell" where she played a secretary turned prostitute and "Ms." Pelcher in "Target -- A Cop" (1976). Her film career lasted from 1920 to 1937. Aside from one TV appearance in 1953, the only other two times she appeared on screen (the TV screen) were on Five-O -- the second was as an "Old Lady" in "School For Assassins" (1980). She died on August 12, 1990 at the age of 87 in Honolulu.
