By The Numbers is 1 of the best Season 1 episodes. Sad to hear about Johnny Crawford's death. I love this episode because the frame on Jerry is well-done. The ending is suspenseful too with Jerry at the Shell. I thought that was realistic with his military training that he would be able to fight the guys off.
