Thread: RIP James Darren

    James Darren has passed away at 88. He was born right here in Philadelphia. Our local boy done good.

    I primarily know him as Officer Jim Corrigan on T.J. HOOKER (a show from my childhood which I’ve been revisiting quite a lot lately and enjoying) who was partnered with Heather Locklear’s Officer Stacy Sheridan. In the 60s he was the star of THE TIME TUNNEL on TV which I’ve never seen. I also remember him in the great WWII flick THE GUNS OF NAVARONE. He was most famous for the GIDGET movies none of which I have ever seen.

    And of course he was in the Five-O episode “Number One with a Bullet” as Johnny Monroe.
